Tom Hadley Action Thrillers

Liv Fisher Series

Under the pen name Tom Hadley, I write modern day action thrillers about a central character called Liv Fisher.

What can I say about Liv? So many extreme adjectives, so little space…

Above all, Liv is a survivor, but survival has taken its toll. After a fractured childhood, she pulled away from her criminal parents on England’s south coast and against all odds managed to make something of herself. She trained to be a PE teacher and in that job she found her niche – of sorts.

For several years, she has been doing moderately well partly because she is strong and loves sport, but also because she has been able to connect to some of the more vulnerable or damaged students in a way that other staff couldn’t.

But it hasn’t all been plain sailing, because Liv’s personality always tends to get in the way. She can be brash, outspoken and intolerant of others, which means she has almost no positive interaction with her other adults. And she has a sort of disability… which others might call a ‘superpower’, but which makes her seem reclusive and a little scary to her colleagues.

Then she loses the job, and her carefully constructed world begins to dissolve around her.

Which is why, at the start of book one, she finds herself on the platform at Slough railway station at 1am, contemplating her dismal future…

Just when you think you have the whole story sussed, another spanner is thrown in the works… and the action is relentless.
